Four Key Principles
The Role of the Club Welfare Officer Lowick YFC has appointed a Club Welfare Officer (CWO) in line with The FA’s role profile. Our CWO has a professional background in child welfare and has completed the FA child protection and best practice workshop. The CWO is the first point of contact for all club members and parents or guardians regarding concerns for the welfare of any child or young person. He will liaise directly with Northumberland FA Child Protection Officer and will be familiar with the procedures for referring any concerns.
