Alan Fairbairn Alan Fairbairn
Alan's family have been at the heart of football in Lowick for many years. He played for Lowick FC since he was a young teenager and has made countless appearances for the club. (If the knee doctors can do miracles he may yet make another appearance) Junior teams invariably thrive under his care, and benefit from his knowledge and experience.

Trevor SlaterTrevor Slater
Having represented the club at almost every age level from under 10's through to senior football Trevor was planning on many more playing seasons to come. That was until a double leg fracture brought his career to an abrupt end last season. Trevor has lived in Lowick all of his life and was very keen to remain a part of the club. He has signed up for his level 1 course early next year as a first step in what will hopefully be an even longer career in coaching.

24th September - Celtic v Wooler

Celtic continued their superb start to the season with a resounding victory over Wooler. The match amazingly ended up with 4 players all on hat tricks but nobody able to grab themselves the match ball! Marco got his usual goals, and 2 a piece from Fraser, Ben and Ryan made it 8-0 at full time. Thomas and Ross B both had a great spell in goal and James Leddy was tremendous throughout the game both defensively and attacking. No goal this week for Taity but 1 goal in 3 years isn't a bad record! And I would get no end of hassle if I don't mention Hindmarsh's acrobatic 'bicycle' kick to set up a goal....there you go Ross!. Final Score 8-0 M.o.M: James Leddy

17th Sept - Celtic vs Longhoughton.

Another big win for Celtic as the visitors turned up with only 6 players, Lowick played with 7 but found themselves down after just 4 minutes. Normal service was soon resumed though and Marco banged in another hat trick in the space of 15 minutes, goals from Fraser (2), Ben (2), Ross Bagley, Ryan and Hindmarsh put the game out of reach before Marco grabbed his second hat trick of the match and even more unbelievably, TAITY SCORED!!!. Final score 14-1. M.o.M: Everybody.

10th Sept - Lowick Celtic vs Alnmouth.

New look Celtic started the season with a superb performance and victory over a young Alnmouth team. Marco banged in a hat-trick with Fraser and Ryan both grabbing a brace on their debuts at this level, Ross Bagley finished off the scoring to end the match 8-2. Man of the Match: Marco Lambert
