24/9/11 - Rangers v Longhoughton

Due to circumstances beyond our control, Rangers found themselves playing with only 7 against a full strength Longhoughton team who were looking for revenge after losing to Celtic last week. A real resilient first half from Lowick failed to prevent the opposition from scoring 2 and at half time they trailed 2-0. Some superb defending and a strong midfield display wasn't enough for Lowick and they eventually fell further behind. Massive credit to every single player for not letting heads drop, and with a full strength team and even amount of players they would surely have been challenging for the 3 points. Final score 1-6. M.o.M : Owen Tait

Edit - League committee investigating possible player registration issue with Longhoughton - decision pending

17/9/11 - Rangers vs Rothbury

The fixtures have not been kind to Rangers in their debut season and they found themselves up against title chasing Rothbury on this second weekend of the season. Despite a barrage of efforts early on, Rangers stood firm and had Hossack in goal to thank for keeping it goal-less. Rothbury eventually took the lead but Rangers hit back through a superb solo effort from Rory H. Some frustrating mistakes from Lowick let Rothbury go on and score 5 more goals though and eventually run away with it. 100% better performance than last week though and minus the mistakes it was a very decent effort. M.o.M: James Hossack

10/9/11 - Lowick Rangers vs Longhorsley

A young and inexperienced Rangers team put a good battling display in but couldn't prevent Longhorsley from eventually overpowering them and winning 6-0, better things are surely ahead for Rangers as they get used to playing at this level. Credit due to the lads as heads never went down and they battled to the end. M.o.M : Reece Frost
